Toddler Art and Music (Accompanied) 18m-2½y

Graduating from the baby classes, Toddlers explore colour, shape and texture through art / craft, with no pressure to make realistic images. They are free to explore paints, crayons and clay with a sense of pride in their own creativity. Parents / nannies are encouraged to support the children by letting them learn and discover their own creativity by doing their own work. The art of learning is in the doing and not in the end result.

The class is a relaxed and fun begining to the toddler's discovery of arts and crafts with a taste of the Toddler Music.

Accompanied: Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesday & Thursday 09:30-10:30.

Downstairs St Mary the Boltons Church Hall.

Art, Craft, Music & Movement (Accompanied) 2-3y

This is the age of confidence building, concentration is stronger and children are ready for longer classes. Developmental activities in art, craft, music and movement and sensorial play are explored every week with a different theme. Collage, 3D and paint techniques are introduced incorporating classic children's books, artists and nursery rhymes.

The support of parents and nannies is still vital at this stage. The learning is not in the doing but in the end result.

Accompanied: Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays 10:45-12:45.

Art Club (Unaccompanied) 3-6y

As the child develops, they are ready to explore more complex art techniques. Through time and encouragement children experiment with their own ideas, working with a wide range of media the children will be guided by our experienced staff, to develop their own individual style. 

The age difference produces a creative hubbub of interaction, sharing ideas and developing at their own pace. Come and enjoy the fun! 

Unaccompanied: Tuesdays 4:00-5:00pm.
