A class for babies from sitting to walking. Babies explore the wonders of  The Treasure Basket

The Treasure Baskets are filled to the brim with items offering rich sensorial experiences for touch, smell, taste, sound and sight weaved together with music and song.

Baby On The Move & Music (Accompanied) 12-18m

After a gentle introduction to the Treasure Basket we move on to the music part if the session, a small empty basket soon fills with bells, shakers and scarves to add further visual and auditory stimulus.

Early Montessori (Accompanied) 18m–3y 

Having explored the delights of familiar objects and discovered the function of many of them in earlier classes, the children are promoted to develop their fine and gross motor skills, carrying out activities that they see you - as the parent- carrying out at home. During the process of refining their control over everyday objects, the children not only gain a life skill that promotes their independence, they are also stimulated to engage in a task for considerable lengths of time, developingextensive concentration periods. It is magical to see a child sit attentively on a self chosen task, repeating an exercise until they have mastered it, quietly completing it with an inner smile of satisfaction! A perfect foundation class before nursery school.

Accompanied: Tuesdays 3:00-4:30, Wednesdays 3:00 -4:30
